Regensburg SPRING JAM 

Contact Impro Festival 

May 29th - June 1st, 2025 

 

We want to celebrate spring with you. 

We cordially invite you to this year's Contact Improvisation Spring Jam from May 29th - June 1st, 2025 in Regensburg. 

With various focus jams, some new formats such as a lab and a dance in public space, as well as water contact and an underscore, we want to improvise with you in a variety of ways and in a fluid way :). 

Your physical well-being will not be neglected. Our kitchen team will provide us with delicious organic vegetarian/vegan dishes during the days. 

For those arriving from outside, there will be the opportunity to stay overnight in our dance room for a small fee.

 

Daily structure: 

Thursday: 1:30 p.m.*/4:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. 

Friday: 9:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. 

Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 10 p.m. 

Sunday: 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

*If you have never danced contact improvisation before or have little experience, this basic workshop is just right for you. Here you can experience the principles of contact improvisation. The experienced contact dancer Jan Philipp will teach you the most important CI content in a 3-hour workshop from 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. The workshop can also be booked independently off the festival. Herefore please until 1:15 p.m. Start is on time: 1:30 p.m.

Limited parking spaces directly at the location.

Prices:

Fullpass Early Bird (until April 20th): €195 - €295 (including meals) 

Fullpass from April 21st: €220 - €320 (including meals) 

Basic Workshop: €30 (participation also possible without a full pass) 

Water Contact*: €6.80 swimming pool entrance fee (participation only possible with a full pass) *Extra registration required, see registration form

 

Accommodation: If you would like to stay overnight in the Dojo or in a camper/car on site, please state your preference when registering. Places will be allocated after registration has been received. The cost is €10 per night. Showers are available on site. Please bring a sleeping bag and sleeping mat.

  • Basic workshop for contact improv beginners (May 29th from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for an additional charge of €30) 
  • Focus jams, e.g. Silent Jam 
  • Lab 
  • Water Contact (May 30th Friday evening, extra registration required and plus entrance fee for the swimming pool) 
  • Dance in public space
  • Underscore 
  • Evening jam with live music 
  • Shared reflection times especially for newcomers 
  • Singing circles 
  • Shared meals with lovingly prepared food (organic vegan/vegetarian)

Awareness Team: 

Physical closness touches us, we are humans and have needs and longings. We are physical beings. In a non-verbal space where body meets body, we want to ensure that you can feel safe. Our awareness team is there for you if uncomfortable situations or uncertainties arise in the dance.

Registration, Detailled information above!

Solidarity Contribution: We would like to enable people who cannot afford the regular participation fee and would therefore run into financial difficulties to still take part in the Spring Jam. We have therefore opened a fund into which everyone is cordially invited to pay a donation of their own choosing, thereby enabling someone else to take part and thus showing (financial) solidarity.

Cancellation policy: If you cancel your registration before the 01st of May 2025, you will be reimbursed minus 50 € cancellation fee. After the first of May, no cancellation is possible.
